YMCA Summer Day Camp

No one creates camping experiences like the YMCA. For over 25 years, Corpus Christi youth have come together for a summer full of nature, water fun, games, cookouts, arts & crafts and new friendships! A wide variety of programs are offered for children grades K through 8, with special programs designed just for teens.  Camp runs June 1  -  August 20, 2010. Pick up a current Camp Brochure at our downtown facility or click hereto download.

YMCA Teen Xtreme

A whole summer of fun and exciting activities designed especially for 6th–8th graders.

YMCA Day Camp kids having funEvery day of your week brings a new and different adventure. One day you could be playing in a basketball tournament and the next you might find yourself on a trail in the woods, hiking or scaling down a climbing wall. Unique and challenging opportunities including team building, leadership skill development and service learning projects and special field trips are just some of the activities that are guaranteed to provide teens a summer of fun!
Locations:
John Paul II High School, (June 1— July 2);
Club Estates Recreational Park, (July 5 - July 30).

YMCA summer camp counselorsWe are looking for responsible, enthusiastic summer staff who want to make a difference in the life of child! We are      looking for energetic, passionate and responsible individuals to work as counselors with kids from 5 – 14 years of age.  Responsibilities include supervising a group of children in daily activities, being a good role model and assisting Camp   Director as needed.  Camp daily activities include games, swimming, arts and crafts, sports, field trips, songs and skits and more.  Must be dependable, team-oriented, organized and flexible.  Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED.
